Welcome to The Limitless Equation ("the App"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

The Limitless Equation is a personal development and wellness platform designed to help women unlearn their limits through self-belief, leadership development, and community support.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App.

1. Data Collection and Sharing

1.1 Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide you with a personalised experience:

Account Information: Email address, password (securely hashed), display name, optional profile avatar, bio, personal vision, and superpower badge selection.

Personal Wellness Data: Habit tracking and completion history, mood check-ins (including mood score, energy level, stress level, and sleep hours), journal entries and personal reflections, values and boundaries tracking with rating history, inner critic entries (your thoughts, reframes, and intensity scores), power moves and personal wins, goals and daily tasks, self-care activities with duration and category.

AI Chat Data: Conversations with the Equa AI mentor are stored to maintain context and improve your experience. Chat history is retained while your account is active.

Community Data (when you choose to participate): Stories and discussions you post, comments and replies, likes and reactions, companion/friend connections and requests, challenge participation and progress tracking, wall posts, podcast listening notes with timestamps.

Content Safety Data: Content reports you submit, user block actions (kept private and not shared with the blocked user).

Technical Data: Push notification tokens and device platform, app preferences (notification settings, theme, locale, timezone, privacy level), terms acceptance status and version.

Crash Reporting: In production, anonymised crash reports may be collected via Sentry to improve app stability. These reports are scrubbed of personal data (emails and tokens are redacted).

1.2 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

Supabase: Our primary backend provider for authentication, database, and file storage. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant and provides enterprise-grade security. Your data is stored on Supabase's secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit.

Expo: React Native development framework for app builds, updates, and push notifications.

Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used on Android devices solely for delivering push notifications. No analytics data is collected through Firebase.

Sentry: Crash reporting and error tracking service. Only anonymised crash data is sent, with personal information (emails, tokens) automatically redacted before transmission. Crash reports are retained for 90 days.

Chatbase: Powers the Equa AI mentor chat experience. Conversations are processed to generate responses.

We DO NOT use Google Analytics, Facebook tracking, advertising networks, or data brokers. We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

1.3 Data Security

Your data is protected using:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Database encryption at rest
• JWT authentication with secure token handling
• Row-Level Security (RLS) ensuring you can only access your own data
• Platform-level secure storage for session credentials

2. Equa AI Mentor Disclaimer

2.1 Nature of AI Guidance

Equa is an AI-powered mentor designed to provide coaching, motivation, and guidance for female leadership development and personal growth. Equa uses artificial intelligence technology to generate responses based on your inputs and conversations.

IMPORTANT: Equa is an artificial intelligence system with inherent limitations. While designed to be helpful and supportive, Equa may occasionally provide responses that are:

• Incomplete or lacking full context
• General rather than specifically tailored to your unique situation
• Not applicable to every individual circumstance

2.2 Limitation of Liability

BY USING EQUA, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

The Limitless Equation and its creators, owners, and operators are NOT responsible for any advice, suggestions, or guidance provided by Equa.

You accept FULL RESPONSIBILITY for any actions you take based on Equa's responses or guidance.

USER DISCRETION IS STRONGLY ADVISED. You should carefully evaluate all AI-generated content before acting upon it.

The Limitless Equation shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or reliance on Equa's responses.

2.3 Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

EQUA IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.

MEDICAL/HEALTH: Equa is not a doctor, therapist, or healthcare provider. Do not use Equa for medical advice. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for health concerns.

MENTAL HEALTH: Equa is not a licensed mental health professional. If you are experiencing mental health challenges, depression, anxiety, or thoughts of self-harm, please contact a qualified mental health provider or crisis helpline immediately.

LEGAL: Equa cannot provide legal advice. Consult a licensed attorney for legal matters.

FINANCIAL: Equa is not a financial advisor. Consult qualified financial professionals for investment or financial decisions.

CAREER: While Equa provides career coaching perspectives, major career decisions should involve consultation with relevant professionals and careful personal consideration.

2.4 Your Acknowledgment

By accepting these Terms and using Equa, you explicitly acknowledge that:

1. You understand Equa is an AI system with limitations
2. You will exercise your own judgment when considering Equa's responses
3. You accept full responsibility for decisions made based on AI guidance
4. You will seek appropriate professional advice when needed
5. You release The Limitless Equation from liability related to Equa's responses

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of The Limitless Equation, you agree to:

• Be at least 13 years of age (this App is not intended for children under 13)
• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Use the App in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Treat other community members with respect and kindness
• Not post content that is harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures or access others' data
• Report any security vulnerabilities or concerning content to our team

4. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

• The App may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or updates
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• We are not liable for any loss of data or interruption of service
• Internet connectivity is required for full functionality

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Active accounts: Your data is retained while your account is active and you continue to use the App.

Account deletion: You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data is permanently removed from our systems, including profile information, wellness data, community posts, chat history, and uploaded files.

Crash reports: Anonymised crash data collected via Sentry is retained for up to 90 days.

Backups: Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion, after which it is permanently purged.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make significant changes:

• We will notify you through the App or via email
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you disagree with changes, you may delete your account
